If you prefer it more selfishly put; he is a far better fighter than I. As far as gain is concerned, what use is a soldier who has nothing to fight for and seeks to kill himself? It will do him good, keep his morale up, and that benefits not only myself but the team as a whole.

When she dies, it should be on her terms, not the CDC's. I want her to live to see her home again.
